Im deffinately going to get new rims sometime within the next couple of days, I was just wondering the offset of the rims for a 92 talon tsi?
I've seen rims that I liked from 38mm to 43mm is there a significance?
Which offset do you guys prefer? Also I was wondering about upgrading the tires in the bundle from 215/45/17 to 235/45/17, is this a good idea?
I dont want to bubble out the sidewall or bend the lip of the rim, all 4 of my original eagle 5 spoke rims have fix-a-flat in them because the rim lips are bent and air escapes..:icon16:

I do not know what the stock offset on the tsi is but i can tell you that the offset does matter heres an explanation. http://www.enkei.com/Wh.Definitions.html
the offset is the distance from that center line positive is towards the outside of the wheel (less lip) negative is towarads the inside of the wheel (fatty lip). I would suggest using whatever the stock offset is sorry i dont have it. And as for tire packages you cant really fit 235 tires 225s are probably the biggest i have 215s on my car
