Should I buy this Cav for $500?Lefix 05-18-2007, 05:18 PM I found this on Craigslist: 1998 Chevy Cavalier - $500 NEEDS FUEL PUMP GOOD SHAPE NO PAPERS SEE PHOTO. NEED GOOD CLEANING IN/OUT FROM SITTING TIRES GOOD KELLY BLUE BOOKS @ 4500.00 ? http://b.im.craigslist.org/PH/1m/dDEhzn53VyCqTU8WvhaRI9G9G9sk.jpg This car is located not even 10 miles from my house, and I was wondering if i should buy this car... The paint job on the car looks decent, ofcourse im going to go take a look at this vehicle in person to see what it has and what it doesn't, but from the ad, it saids it only need a fuel pump, and because it has been "sitting" for awhile, i think it doesnt have that much miles on it... so i was thinking if i should buy it and get it run able... and maybe sell it after i can get it running... What do you guys think? Would you go check out this cav? Lances133 05-18-2007, 06:37 PM Probly not worth the time, effort, or money. Cold_Silence 05-18-2007, 06:39 PM Hard to say go check it out in person. That picture is awful seductive.. :) Its like a lioness prowling.. haha millrtime 05-18-2007, 07:18 PM dont get ur hopes up but definitely go look at it before ruling out all possibilities. me and a couple have friends have done the same thing and got 500 bux apiece out of a 96 accord. all it needed was a new master cylinder, injectors, and spark plugs. JStumpalump150 05-18-2007, 07:54 PM it looks nice but i would definatly check it out first Classicrocjunkie 05-18-2007, 08:24 PM mileage? noshun 05-19-2007, 10:11 AM it would be expensive to bring back from the jungle wouldn't it DeadBlade89 05-19-2007, 11:58 AM it would be expensive to bring back from the jungle wouldn't it lol he has a point:lol: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
