excessive play at driveshaft yoke bearing retainer and seal leakpznuttz 05-16-2007, 04:55 PM could this be a failed frt. pinion bearing and reatainer? and whats the procedure on repairing it any info is greatly appreciated MT-2500 05-17-2007, 05:46 PM What year and size van? Is it the front end at transmission or back on the rear end? If on rear end it is usually from pinion bearing failed. But first check for lose nut on yoke first. Tighten up nut and feel bearing for roughness. If pinion bearings it is usually replace all rear end bearings vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
