Wrap Intake?notaricajustfasta 05-15-2007, 09:36 PM I know that exhaust wrap keeps the heat contained so it doesnt dissipate throughout the engine bay. My question is that can you wrap your wai or cai and will it have the same effect or keeping the heat out of the piping? Thus keeping the cold air in your cold air intake cold. Just a thought. PsychoJJ 05-15-2007, 09:56 PM It will actually work like those frozen food microwave deals. It will allow heat in but the pipeing wont disapate the heat thanks to the wrap. It will turn your pipeing into a microwave borrito. notaricajustfasta 05-16-2007, 11:10 AM Thats a really good analogy, thanks. So I guess that idea is going to the trash. Classicrocjunkie 05-16-2007, 11:19 AM mm hmm notaricajustfasta 05-20-2007, 12:59 PM http://www.directtuning.com/store/pc-39269-220-thermo-tec-cool-tube-shield.aspx What about this one. Probably more towards my idea. Classicrocjunkie 05-20-2007, 03:30 PM save your money... thing looks cheasy and i highly doubt it will have much of an affect.
