Foglight question

I have a 98 grand cherokee with origional foglights. as you know, they cut out when you turn the hi-beams on. as there anyway to bypass this, without running wires straight from the lights. i know its illegal and all to have hibeams and foglights on, but seeing as my brights aren't that bright, and no one really ever gets to see the hibeams because i turn them off when theres on people around, i don't see the big deal.

any suggestions?
