my grandma has a 84 ford truck she had me look at it i started it started fine idled fine let it sit for a minute in idle then it shut off wouldnt start it cranked over starter if fine then after 10 second it started again idled then shut off after a minute.. ?:banghead:

check the fuel system. it may be priming the fuel system, but not have enough pressure.
