I just put new Alpine 6.5" cones in my doors and the rear passenger still sounds like it is blown. Could this be the amp or a broken wire? For some reason the connecyors at the amp have electrical tape around the wires so when I took one off the wasn't a break in the insulation. Anybody have any experiance in this? Thanks Tim

i had a problem with this when i was hooking up my new CD player the back speakers sounded funny. turned out i wired the speakers incorrectly (for example, a solid white wire connected to a white wire with a black stripe down the middle). it might be just as simple as that...

My speakers just went out in my Jeep. I have a 1995 Grand Cherokee Larado. To change the speaker do you have to take off the whole door panel or can you just take off the portion of the panel where the speaker is?

Whole door panel, just watch out for those clips they break easy.
