Hello, When I am driving my Jeep, I have experience stalling. It usually occurs after I leave at a complete stop, say at a stop light, and I begin to go upwards, the vehicle begins to run then stall, stops for 5 seconds and then goes. Can anyone assist me with this problem.
Thanks. :banghead:

What model and year is your Jeep?
It could be the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS). Search this forum for "CPS" and you'll see some postings that describe this problem - see if the symptoms are the same as what you experience.
Does it stall when driving, or mostly when stopping and starting? I had this problem when starting after a stop. Replacing the CPS fixed it.
The part is only about $50. It's sort of easy to install once you know how (I'll give you some guidance if it turns out that's the part you need).

i think it is your fuel pump. When you said it stalls while going up the hills, that is what it sounds like to me. Have someone test the pressure coming out of the fuel line. It should be around 40 psi if I remember right.
