How high do the RPM's go when you are driving it?

It sounds like maybe your clutch is slipping. Classis problem noticed when you shift into 5th and the clutch is worn out. So you engage the tranny into 5th with out any problem, hit the gas and your rpms tach up and you go nowhere? Thats a clutch issue, recommend entire kit, and don't forget about the pilot bearing.Very important to the life of your tranny.
