2002 Sebring Sedan Battery Questionsdbapete 05-06-2007, 07:23 PM I'm approaching the 60 month mark of ownership and do not know what the battery is rated at in terms of months. I tried to get in the fender well and remove the screws but none of the sockets that I have fit - neither US or metric sizes. Before I go any further, I thought I would ask for advice on this. What size sockets do I need and how many different sizes are there holding this battery cover in place? Is the book right in saying turn the wheel to the right ? What are the original batteries rated at 60 months? 72 months? Is it better to remove the tire and put the car on a floor jack? Thanks for any advice on this. lambough 08-19-2008, 01:52 AM I'm approaching the 60 month mark of ownership and do not know what the battery is rated at in terms of months. Thanks for any advice on this. well mine lasted about 4 years then it took a swift and hard dive into the dead zone; it is 10,000 times easier to just go ahead and take the tire off compleatly. then just remove the whole inner fender cover, i beleive i used a 8 mm for the post on the battery and a 13mm on the hold down bar. but dont hold me to it, its been a while. its in behind the back drivers side section of the bumper cover.
