1987 Trooper II No fan and no turn signalscorbinsdad 05-05-2007, 12:36 PM Hey guys and gals, This is my first time posting here and this is my first Trooper. I bought an 87 Trooper in fairly good condition for $800.00. It has 204,322 miles but runs great, my only 2 problems that I have is that the turn signals to not function, no blink, no nothing. I have checked the fuse and it is good. Also, the fan for the vent/heat/ac does not come on. Any suggestions would be helpful. corbinsdad 05-06-2007, 02:14 AM Alright, I fixed the turn signals. It was a loose connection at the flasher. So now I'm just stumped on the blower. atfdmike 05-07-2007, 08:11 AM Have you checked for proper voltage output from the alternator? I assume you found fuse for HVAC system and it is good, If you are sure you are getting 13.6 V or thereabouts, then check for power at blower motor. If power there, then bad blower motor (check ground). You will just have to backtrack and this diagram may help. Good luck. It seems there is a blower relay behind the driverside headlight, it has a rubber boot over it. I took this out and cleaned the connectors. I put it back in and now the blower works! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
