Well I actually got this a week or two ago, but I never bragged in here so I felt I had to. hehehe

I needed a new car to make it to work and back and survive wisconsin winters, so I went and picked me up a brand new WRX. Yay! Love this car. It's not the best thing in the world, but I couldn't possibly have gotten a better new car for my pennies, and I'm damn happy about that.

Congrats on the new ride... wouldn't mind having one of those myself...
Now to redeem yourself seeing as this topic has nothing to do with car modelling, you're gonna have to build us a scale replica of that :D

I know this isin't helping the "non model related" thread, but one suggestion do you, take off the "subaru" and "Impeza" on the back of the car, and just leave the WRX, it looks hot, my friend bought his (used) and it was already like that...

sk82break - Are those pics photoshopped by you or what? That's not an '03 WRX. Mine is. :-)

BTW - whoever that was, did a shitty job lining the front side panels up with the driver's door.

He baught a 1:1 version of the car so when he does his subaru model, he can do the exact colors of every part, DUH!!!

I like the current version, the headlights on the new JDMs are to plain, the styling of the current one is controversial, because it's different, now it looks to ordinary.

Apparently Subaru were forced into the facelift for 2003/2004 because they lost too many sales when the current model came out.

I'm not sure if the new look is as good as the 1st gen Impreza but I do think it's neater than the current design. And I'm sure Tamiya will do an excellent kit.
