After an hour working with all kinds os abrasive paper, putty and lots of pacience, finally i made it to solve the problem i had with the paintjob! What appended, was that the primer i used, reacted with the paint and ruined all the paint. Still not perfect, but with a bit more work on it, it will be perfect Stay tuned! http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3123.jpg drawzer 06-22-2007, 05:38 AM My friends! I promissed myself that i would fix all square cm of my enzo, and after to days working on the body, i have achieved a great paint and shine as you guys can see on the pics! Say something! http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3130.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3131.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3129.jpg auw12 06-22-2007, 06:32 AM Nice works so far! Is the color metallic black? I saw metal flakes out there, it's very original for an enzo. Keep them up! drawzer 06-22-2007, 07:14 AM Nice works so far! Is the color metallic black? I saw metal flakes out there, it's very original for an enzo. Keep them up! Yes it is! I wanted to make a bit diferent enzo, almost all ferraris are red, i need to see other colors ferraris, so i have painted this in metalized black! drawzer 06-22-2007, 12:02 PM Small update: With decals and tail lights: http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3137.jpg drawzer 07-03-2007, 07:54 PM Some progress, some pics: http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3165.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3172.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3189.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3194.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/drawzer/100_3196.jpg jmwallac 07-08-2007, 06:26 PM Nice save on the paintjob! Your wheels look very realistic; I especially like you took the time to paint the wheel nut a different color. What color did you use for the rims? I'm building 2 right now and the second one has a terrible fit on the hatch! I had to glue it shut and putty the side to make it acceptable. How does yours fit? Also, the seatbelt looks a bit wide although it's much better than the molded belts. drawzer 07-08-2007, 07:18 PM Nice save on the paintjob! I have used revell enamel n 91 for the rims and for the nut i used humbrol metal cote satin gold for the nut, all with a manual brush! Unfortunely i dont have a airbrush because i am 17 and havent the money to buy it! My hatch was also a bit deformed, i putted it in hot water and used some heavy stuff to try to recover is old shape. Revell did a bad job in some aspects in the kit, hopefully, is cheap:2cents::2cents::2cents: :p vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
