Hello, I have a small problem with my 96 Contour Sport. Recently the check engine light came on. After having it tested at Auto Zone it came up with a p1131 error code. The vehicle has always had a little shake to it when sitting with foot on brake while in drive(i've owned it for about 16 months now). The tach will go down to about 700-800 RPM, and the car will being to shake. it gets even worse if anything electrical is running. Headlights, heater blower, brights, etc. If i put the car in neutral the shaking stops and tach goes up to just over 1000 rpm. But about 2-3 months ago is when it started really sucking gas badly(check engine light just now came on but this has been an ongoing problem for awhile now). I am sometimes lucky to get 200 miles to a full tank. Sometimes as little as 120, if i run it bone dry. Now, even more recently(last week or week and a half or so), the car sometimes wants to die from a cold start. It will start up no problem, then begin to sputter and the tach will fall to about 500, then it will die. It always starts back up no problem and usualy runs just fine after that. But then randomly it might die at a stop light, or sometimes just act like it wants to(starts to drop in RPM and idle rough unless givin gas) So as you can see, it has a couple of problems. Any suggestions you would have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :smokin:

DTC P1131 indicates the system is correcting RICH for an overly LEAN condition. The Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) voltage is less than 0.45 volts. This is usually due to a vacuum leak after the MAF. It can also be caused by a bad PCV valve or PCV system hose. It can also be caused by low fuel pressure or a plugged injector.
