Hey guys..

2003 sunfire, more problems...please help iof you can.

Just came back from a week in florida to find both lowbeams out,
High beams are fine, different bulb,
fog lights work fine too...

Service Vehicle Soon light came on as well...

when i start the car and start driving within seconds there's a series of ticking noises that seem to be coming from the dash, doesn't sound like an engine noise at all...only goes on for about 5-10 seconds...no drivability problems (yet)

To further describe the sounds...it's a cross between the turn signal indicator tick and an electric spark tick...kinda like igniting an element on a gas stove..and electrical tick...doesn't seem to be movement or friction related,

look forward to any ideas,..

Your ticking sound is because you have no low beams. The Daytime Driving Light system is warning you of a headlight problem and will shut down your DDLights till this is fixed.

and the problem is probably blown bulbs or, more likely, a busted relay.

The ticking sound is your DRL relay, trying to turn you DRL on, there is nothing worry with the relay, most like both of your low beam bulbs are out, I had both of mine go out close to the same time as well. Just get new bulbs and you problem should be fixed, the Service Vehicle Soon light will also go off once you have the DRL back.
