Need help! Working on my sons 1996 Contour Sport with the 4 Cyl. We just replaced the transmission and all was working well for 2 days! Now when it is started the O/D light starts to blink. But the main problem is, every time we try to put in gear the PCM maxi fuse in the engine compartment blows. It blows before it even has a chance getting in gear! I am wandering, if it may be the O/D wire maybe shorted?

Did you put the ground wires in the right spots?The ground wires have to be in the right spots.

Fixed, found a shorted wire! But now the engine is running like crap and the O/D light is still blinking, even after resetting PCM
