I was curious if anyone could tell me if the transmission from a 96 Pont. Bonneville is a direct exchange for the one in my 95 Lesabre. The 96 has a series II engine but I can't find any noticeable difference on the transmission. I already own this transmission so. . ...

I believe the trans harness and/or wiring may be different. A salvage yard has the interchange guides and should be able to give the info, also
