When applying foot pressure on the brakes, I feel significant oscillating in dry weather conditions. If this is how the ABS system is supposed to work, I don't like it. It makes it difficult to come to a smooth stop. I'm going to have the brake rotors checked, but the oscillating (or varying pressure needed to stop the car smoothly) doesn't seem to be constant as the car slows. In other words, the frequency seems not synched to a warped rotor. Any insights as to what I should expect would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you had the brake lines bled?

:screwy: Problem solved. The rotors were warped. I didn't think you could have warped rotors on a brand new car. The brakes responded this way since day one.
