What is your gas mileage?guitarfish 04-24-2007, 03:13 PM My father has a 2006 Sante Fe with AWD, automatic trans. He's getting 15mpg in the city (suburbs) where he drives 99% of the time, it's usually 35-45mph roads, with some stop and go. The specs for this vehicle list 19/24 for city/highway. I'm curious what fuel economy others are getting. Post away please! yotabj2000 05-10-2007, 02:02 PM I have a santa fee 04 with a 3.5L in it and i drive in the Houston trafic and I get about 18mpg about 300 per tank that is if I am good on a bad week I get about 240 a tank :frown: limppeace29 05-26-2007, 09:03 PM I have a 2003 3.5L. This SUV is brutal on gas. I'm lucky if I get 15/gal in the city. However, my CE light came on and my vehicle started sputtering, so I brought it back to Hyundai. They said my #2 fuel injector was shot and that's why I had the problem. I thought, GREAT!, now my gas mileage will improve, WRONG! My CE light just came back on and it is saying there is a problem with the catalyst system. This is probably another reason why I am getting bad gas mileage. The truck is going back to the dealership on Tuesday, we'll see... marly87 06-08-2007, 08:53 PM My '05 2.7L gets about 18 m/gal. I drive about 280 miles a week, but it's mostly open road. I can fill up on Tuesday (costing about $48 yikes!) and it'll last me almost a week. catfishgeez 09-02-2007, 08:00 PM I have a 2006 with the 2.7. I get about 19 - 20 driving in suburban roads. When I get out on the interstate (I - 4) for a 200 mile trip, I get only 20. I guess going 70 - 80 mph sucks up the gas. barnzy 11-28-2007, 07:44 PM Have an '05 Santa Fe AWD and averages no better than 16mpg all around. Our 2001 AWD was no better. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
