I have heard that there is a small block chevy engine that you can buy, and has to be assembled and everything. Then you put fuel in it, and can actually start it up. Anybody ever heard of this? Who makes it? I'd LOVE to do this. How much does it cost?

I think they are the only ones making V-8 model engines and they only come assembled, I'ved been a long time rc'er and when these engines first came out they were $3000.00!!

Thats cool, but i was lookin more for internal combustion engines, like honda engines, or 305's, 427's, things like that...

THink of all the components in a car engine, and imagine the costs of making smaller versions! That ain't gonna be cheap! Even if it is possible, it's gonna cost ya!
Multi cylinder aero engines cost the earth!!!

Some guy did it with a Ferrari 312. It was built perfectly to scale, but it also took him 20 years I think...
