93 Civic distributor's...Havoc724 10-16-2002, 01:12 AM I'm a n00b here, so be easy... :D I have a 93 Civic DX Coupe, and just replaced my distributor for the 2nd time in a year and a half. I heard from some people that its a common problem but wasn't sure or not since I don't know my ass from my elbow when it comes to my car. Any suggestions on how to keep my distributor from blowing on me again? civickiller 10-16-2002, 04:46 AM we would need to know exactly what goes wrong with the distributor to figure out how to help you kaytec4door 10-16-2002, 11:32 AM well the distrubeters are common for going out. the bearing that is. the bearing gets poor lubrication or contamination from outside. if u power wash the enging comp. to much it can cause that and check to see if it is getting oil. and high rpms dont help either. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
