Hi all, 1st post.
My 85 accord died without warning. Never missed a lick.
Timing belt is ok. Spark from coil and through sparkplugs seem to be good. It's getting fuel and float levels seem ok. I tried starting fluid but no help. I even unbolted exhaust to be sure there was no pressure or fuel buildup there. Still nothing. It cranks fine and occasionally acts like it might start but just for a second. No backfire, nothing. Tomorrow I plan on pulling valve cover and check valves but actually I'm totally baffled. Anyone have any ideas? Before I give up and have it towed to garage, I want to be sure I've checked everything possible.
