Not worth the time IMO. Slowprocess 04-27-2007, 02:22 PM I did both of them and ran 11.8. :grinyes: BlenderWizard 04-27-2007, 03:38 PM I did both on my old 99 and noticed not one bit of difference at all. Not worth the time IMO. +1 to that. I would do the EGR delete to keep it from pumping crap back into your engine. Fortunately, the 02 didn't have an EGR to start with Elbert 04-27-2007, 10:31 PM if anyone here deleted EGR and they have a 5.7 vortec....did you leave the egr valve installed on the intake? Does anyone make a blockoff plate? What did you use to block the EGR hose ? And Finally any web sites about this and I assume you had turned off via the PCM reprogramming? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
