Pirelli PSI, Please HELP!DennisD 10-14-2002, 10:08 PM I recently bought a set of Pirelli Scorpion A/Ts for my 96 Chevy 1500. The size of the tires are 31x10.5 R15. I know the max inflation for the tires is 50PSI, but what I would like to know is the recommened PSI for running the tires. It doesn't say anywhere on the tirewall. Right now Iam running them at 38 PSI both front and back. If anyone knows the recommeneded PSI or knows where I can find that info. it would really help me out. Thanks Dennis Luke@tirerack 10-15-2002, 02:53 PM the recommended pressure is listed on a sticker inside of the drivers side door and it reads 35psi front and rear DennisD 10-16-2002, 12:57 AM Should I take into consideration that the sticker gives the recommended PSI for tires that are 235/75 in size. And the new Pirelli's I got are a lot bigger than that the are 31x10.5 in size with that much of a change should I increase the PSI at all? By the way thanks for your help. Dennis Luke@tirerack 10-16-2002, 03:39 PM the air pressure in a tire designates load capacity so, regardless of the tire size the OE recommendation still is correct . You do have about a 5 psi window for variation to suit your driving style. I wuold say anywhere around 35psi would be good DennisD 10-17-2002, 12:19 AM Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.
