I need Help!

Ive searched the forum, and seen where plenty of others, had the problem i had, I should of looked at this first! well i had the crazy gas gauge going on, so i went and got the whole fuel pump (thought i had to!) my husband has it installed, the only problem is, it came with a new harness and connector to replace the old. the old one will not work, with the new pump, it has no instructions, its only 4 wires and he just cant get it to work, anybody who has dealt with this please help!:banghead:

:) The second and third articles on here should have something that will help. Some have had to have their computers reset after installing a new fuel pump. Andie:)
