What are your thoughts on an Old school car (1960's model body and exterior, etc.) with a new school interior (bucket seats, system, etc.)?

I like the idea of the classic look with the modern day creature comforts.

i am in to the authentic, but if you start with a kluncker or at least carefully disassemble your unwanted parts and redistribute them to people who want to keep it oem i think that it'll be great.
my buddies 56 post-less is pretty sweet. it looks like the original interior with the stock radio and crank windows, but the cranks are just big on/off switches for the electric motors and there is a fat system accessible through the glove box, all the while the original stereo still works also. expensive, but cleaver.

That is what I am doing to my 66 :) But, with taste. Something that looks period, but was not.

Right now, I am cutting out all the rust. Give me a month or two, then I will post up.
