Broux is a general modeling shop - where they ask questions like: "need some glue, sir / don't know / not sure about that" - who organises every year a "so called" modeling show. Basically it is to promote his shop, which is fine, but don't expect it to be on the same level as an IPMS show. We will find there local IPMS sections in a little boothspace, but that's only because they get paid some decent money for that.
Anyway, good show for the general public to get an idea of what we are doing. Average show for the experienced and die-hard modeler, unless you wanna meet some friends and have beer.

I'm not going, as you could have guessed :flipa:

I'll be visiting the "Brussels Retro Mobile" exhibition over the weekend, 3 day show with highlights:
- 80 years Bentley at Le Mans
- 50 years Mercedes SL
- 100 years Triumph moto's
- 50 years Austin Healy

I just have to go  "50 years Mercedes SL".... Also, I interested in seeing last years Le Mans Bentley. More info on Brussels Retro Mobile (http://www.brusselsretromobile.com/)

A show worth to do some travelling for...

Cheers.

Oh,
I did not know that but maybe it is because I m new to this.
I go to have an idea of what can be made and to find the damn TS50 to finish my subaru.
But I will also check the old cars in Brussels.

Greetzzzzz

You were right about the happening it was no big deal.
But it gave a good overview of what is possible in modeling.
And found some TS50 to finish my model but this store is so expensive !
So that was all.

I know they are expensive.

The Brussels Retro Festival was very cool. All Mercedes SL's througout history were on display. I had the chance to do a picture walk-around of the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing and the SLS!

Also the first Bentley to compete in LeMans was on display. I think Airfix has a kit on that too. Also many older Ferrari's(512BB, Dino, etc), Bugatti's, Merc's and some Porsches.

Worth the 12 euros entrance fee.

Cheers.

It was not bad but I expected more car models and people that could give me some tips but it was more military things and boats and lots of planes.
If you want i could post some pics.
