Hi, I'm having problem with my 05 Accord 4 cyl dohc.

I'm getting an OBD II error code - P2227.

I looked everywhere on the web and it has something to do with malfunction Barometric Pressure sensor. I couldn't troubleshoot it because I have no idea what this device does and where is it under the hood.

Does anyone have any idea?

The Barometric Pressure sensor is inside the ecm(It tells the ecm what altitude you are at to compensate fuel trim).

Try clearing it and see if it comes back,if it will try to find an obd2 reader that will let you see the data list. With the engine off you map and bero sensor should read the same engine off.So lets say your map is at 4.9v and you bero is at 3.2 you have a bad bero.It can not be changed separately you will have to get a hole ecm.

You have an 05 so if you bout it after April and you have under 30k on it you are still covered under factory warranty.
