Aztek Vs. Echo

Which would you...er...um...dislike the least? I'd say Aztek, but it's a tough call.

This is a very hard choice to make..
I would have to go with Aztek.

This is how I came with the decision:
1. Compared the styling, both are terrible.
2. Compared the performance, both are terrible.
3. Imagined a head on collision between the two. Aztek won.

That was funny dude. Yeah, I'd have to go Aztek as well. I could sell it for a whole lot more. I'm just sitting here trying to picture myself in either one.. I just wouldn't be a happy camper either way, no matter how you slice it.

I will say, however, in defense of the Echo, that I looked at one at last year's Auto Show in NYC, and sitting inside it I was very impressed. Toyota's high ceiling in the car really gives one the feeling of having lots of space. It may be deceptive, but in cars the perception of having lots of space is almost as important as actually having space. However, I don't care for its exterior, and they look like they are just begging to roll over or at least lean like crazy if you tried to do some hard cornering in one of them. And that wouldn't make me pleased.

Hmmm..seems I have misjudged the topic of the room. I was under the impression that we were to choose which of these cars we wanted to see in the "crusher" first! lol anyways you forgot the 2000 Impala and 2000 Sonata in the line up.

hahaha, it's so funny, I'm not even going to say anything excpet that you should drive them both off a cliff and which ever one dosen't catch on fire wins, if they both do, call it a draw.:D

I'd have to say echo looks a little better than the aztec...but its close...I would picture a girl driving an echo...I just laugh when i see some guy driving one...Hope i didn't offend anyone;)

the Aztek is ugly, the Echo isn't. I wouldn't ever drive the Echo, but it's really not that bad..

LOL i remember durring the daytona 500 (Rest in peace dale we miss you!) I heard someone say gee i hope that Aztecs tent dosent pop out while on the pace! hehee:eek: :)

it's not ugly.. I think you guys are just blinded by its cheapiness. I wouldn't want to drive one, but it's not that ugly. what IS ugly is a Ford Fiesta, Ford Tempo, & 97-99 Ford Taurus

the aztecs are so damnn ugly that GM is already under plans for a minor redesign of the aztec
and its only been out for 6 months or so

the echo does look a little better and it also gets better gas mileage which is always a plus! :D

I say the Aztec wins the "Ugliest Thing on the Road" award. It looks like an old Honda CRX on steroids.

exactly i always thought the bak looked a little too wierd like the CRX :D

Hmmm, I always thought the Aztek looked like a jacked up LeMans (can you see the similarities, especially in profile and rear end) :bloated:
I think the Echo is ok, but once you get aircon and auto (I wouldn't get the auto, but my mom would) it is only a grand (Canadian) less than an auto corolla (even though it is a 3-SPEED, UGH), which feels more spacious/less cheap. I like the Sentra.
I'm sorry, but the Echo isn't ugly, the Aztek is, but hte concept version was cool.

I don't like either, but the Echo is far better looking. These are the best looking pics I could find of either.

Yeah, that describes an Aztek owner, especially the last part.

Hmmmmmmm....Ugly vs. Homely??????

Well Aztek has that big high & wide rear end.....kinda reminds you of your mother in law, Echo on the other hand looks like one of those dog's that chases parked cars..........

Aztek is practical, so is a donkey......Echo is economical, so are roller-blades....

Dang that's a tough call.....fact is Its like choosing to go on a date with your sister or your cousin....you're damned no matter which one you choose and your friends will laugh at you either way!:D
