My fiance is looking at a 98 accord with 111000 miles on it. The asking price is $7900 at the dealer. They'll give her $6000 for her '00 XTerra. Any problems we should look for with the Accord? It is a manual trans...what kind of mileage can we expect before having to put a new clutch disc in it? Anything else you guys can tell us?

Price seems a little high. Check to see if the timing belt was changed recently. If not, it will cost an additional $600. to do that. The clutch issue depends on how the car was driven. around town or hilly areas or wide open roads. Is it a 4 or 6 cyl? If this is your first Honda, welcome. They are great cars if you take care of them.
