96 Deville keyless entry question

I have a 96 Deville I recently bought and it didn't come with a keyless entry remote-does anyone know if all of these cars came with this option. I hate to waste the money buying one if only certain models used them. Also if I do buy one, how do you program these style. thanks

All 96-97 Devilles were originally equipped with 2 keyless entry remotes when new.
