Luminagirl 04-09-2007, 07:50 PM Okay, I just wasn't sure how hard to tug. Now I can't get the battery out, is there a bolt somewhere I can't see? Why is this so hard?!? LOL cf1 04-09-2007, 08:36 PM Okay, I just wasn't sure how hard to tug. Now I can't get the battery out, is there a bolt somewhere I can't see? Why is this so hard?!? I've never seen another vehicle where you have to remove a brace and the washer fluid reservoir just to get to the battery. At least someone had the genius to put that Auxillary terminal there. ...On that note, what's the deal with that tiny glove box? Put your owner's manual and insurance/registration book in there and there's nearly no room left at all. $#@# Blue Bowtie 04-12-2007, 09:34 AM The "masterminds" behind the lumina didn't do a real good job with some areas of the car..especially when it comes to the battery. If you think that was a poor location, replace the battery in a later Riviera some time. http://mysite.verizon.net/strey/files/RivieraSeatCompartment.jpg gw84 04-12-2007, 07:05 PM holy crap! Is that underneath the back seat? PITA!! How would you jump start that? Is there an Aux like with the lumina? Blue Bowtie 04-12-2007, 10:29 PM Yes, like most later GM vehicles and many others with inaccessibly located batteries (Chrysler 300s, etc.) there is a main power node near the UEC or somewhere under the hood. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
