The tail housing will bolt on But. The 2W tail shaft and 4W tail shafts are different. You would have to take the transmission apart to change the tail shaft. Lot of work and if they are different years the valve body may different and wired different. Here is a link that will give you a idea of what you will get into. http://72.19.213.157/files/4L60ERemoval.html MT epecenter 04-08-2007, 11:11 AM The tail housing will bolt on But. How bad is the transmission that is in it or what is it doing or not doing? If you get into chaging tail shafts I would consider installing a clutch and seal kit and looking stuff over while you have it apart. Good Luck MT. epecenter 04-08-2007, 12:08 PM You are welcome. Good Luck MT. the one thats on my car kicks on the first change of gears and i what to change it before it goes out, i think i could trade the 4x4 tranny for a two wheel drive tranny and save all that truoble, i got the 4x4 tranny because it only had 39000 miles on it. thank you for the info:grinyes: MT-2500 04-08-2007, 12:13 PM It might pay to get it checked on a transmission capable scanner for codes. Sometimes it is only a solenoid or sensor problem. If any codes post back code no. MT epecenter 04-08-2007, 12:17 PM It might pay to get it checked on a transmission capable scanner for codes.
