clutch hose bleeding problem

i put a new clutchline/slave cylinder in my 1992 gmc sonoma and ive tried gravity bleeding it but the pedal still goes right to the floor and the clutch fork only moves 1/4-1/2 inches. any suggestions?

You may need to bleed it like you would brakes. Have an assistant push the clutch pedal down, open the bleeder, then close it, then release the pedal. It may take several times to expel the air from the clutch master cylinder. Do not allow the clutch master cylinder to run out of fluid in the process.

so no pumping the clutch pedal then opening it. just push it to the floor once then open and repeat until it gets back to normal?
