Did you check the ground cable and connections?BTW..On the Internet...turn the cap locks off....suffice to say...it is not usually done. fredjacksonsan 04-05-2007, 08:30 AM First of all rockinred, Welcome to AF. Lots of good info here. Check this site (http://autorepair.about.com/cs/troubleshooting/l/bl_obd_16.htm) and you'll see the 1600 code is for high voltage. Did the problem start after you put on the new parts? If so, I'd check all the connections to make sure everything is correct. Oh yeah and fyi caps lock = YELLING rockinred 04-05-2007, 11:17 PM First of all rockinred, Welcome to AF. Lots of good info here. There have been a lot of problems caused by corrosion in the battery cables. If your battery terminals are showing some corrosion, chances are that your cables are in bad shape too (especially they positive). Cut then peel back the insulation on the battery cables; if they're corroded then replace. rockinred 04-06-2007, 12:13 PM Did you try jump starting? Did you check battery voltage?
