The connector for the temp sensor on my '97 S-10 2.2 pick up basically fell apart so now I have a constant check engine light & a temp guage that doesn't read. I have been unsuccessful in finding a replacement pigtailed connector to repair it & I'm sure as heck not going to buy the entire engine wiring harness. Anyone out there had this happen to them & if so what/where did you get parts? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Advance Auto Parts can get pigtails for GM sensors, you just have to ask them to look in the catalog, not the computer. NAPA carries them too. A boneyard would also be an option. Which ever way you go, make sure you solder the pigtail on and use heat shrink tubing over the splice.
