S-10 p/u 2.2 coolant temp connectorDon Ferrette 04-03-2007, 01:34 PM The connector for the temp sensor on my '97 S-10 2.2 pick up basically fell apart so now I have a constant check engine light & a temp guage that doesn't read. I have been unsuccessful in finding a replacement pigtailed connector to repair it & I'm sure as heck not going to buy the entire engine wiring harness. Anyone out there had this happen to them & if so what/where did you get parts? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. old_master 04-03-2007, 08:07 PM Advance Auto Parts can get pigtails for GM sensors, you just have to ask them to look in the catalog, not the computer. NAPA carries them too. A boneyard would also be an option. Which ever way you go, make sure you solder the pigtail on and use heat shrink tubing over the splice. 400sbc_guy 04-17-2007, 10:49 PM very normal on chevy vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
