2.0 Jetta Timing Belt?? Cam Position Sensor code.. And car wont start!! Help!!djshyc 04-02-2007, 05:57 PM Ok so the other night my jetta while idling normally just suddenly stalled out and then when i restarted it it ran like crap then got a little worse each time it would stall and I would restart. So I decided to just let it sit til the morning. I went out in the morning and it would not start at all and still wont. I hooked it up to the computer, and Cam Position Sensor code p0341 popped up. That code will come up if your timing belt slips and the timing is off. If this is the case, How bad is it if the car was tried to be started several times throughout the day? Will this Bend anything, fu*k anything up? Can this be fixed without a hitch? What do I do? THANKS !!! denisond3 04-03-2007, 09:36 AM I wouldnt try to start it anymore. Replacing the timing belt would be my first action, followed by a compression check. If the comp. check was good, then you are likely okay. I would always replace the timing belt tensioner/idler at the same time. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
