Got a little time this afternoon to wash the T/A up. Also tryed out the new microfiber waffle drying towel. Works GREAT!!! Any dust that gets on the paint after it is washed doesn't have a chance to swirl the paint with this. It isn't flat...allowing the little amount of dirt to get trapped in the recessed parts of the towel.

Not the best pics as I was short on time and battling the sun.

Thanks for the reminder.

Emissions this time around. Might not be driven for a month or two after June. We get one month after they expire to get the tags.

thought 96+ did not require tail pipe test, they just plug in a scanner, no codes = pass :dunno: . thats how its always been out here in MD.

Every state is different.
Colorado is almost as bad as California.

Cali sucks the big one. I don't live there, but everyone who's into performance shit that lives out there hates all the laws.
Luos, you have inspired me to find a good location for the pics my friend and I want to try and take later when I actually get my car up and running. I want it to look somewhat professional, kinda like yours. You always have good background locations that don't distract from the car, but present the car nicely. Like some of those pics of yours up in the mountains.

You have to swap cams just for a smog check. That sucks the big one.

Could be worse, could be an engine swap to pass. Here it's just plug and pray, and anyone who is good with engine management systems can usually trick the computer into reading everything within specifications.

Having done it several times...I think I can have it ready to go with the LS6 cam in an afternoon. :grinyes:

Looks really clean man i like it!! but BOOOO to ur nittos..lol..i cant stand nitto tires...overrated in my opinion...BFG DR's all the way!!!....

It pays to have buddies who do inspection stickers. I just call it in then go over and pick it up..dont even have to take my car.

I don't race on the Nitto's. But I need a DR for street use that will give me some miles. Nittos fit the bill perfectly. They stick to the road much better than any street tire and can last well over 10K miles. BFG's stick to the street no better or worse when not warmed and fully inflated. Which is what the Nitto's see for use.

I race on Mickey Thompson ET radials. 275/50/15's. Which also don't stick any better than the Nitto's when not warmed on the street.
But blow away both the BFG and Nitto at the track. :grinyes:

Looks like I need to air up the fronts a little bit. Sagging a bit.

Track is opening this weekend. I won't be running for a few more weeks, but it is time to start getting ready.

That second pic of the WS6 badge had a reflection that looked like there was a major crack on top of the bumper. I was like, Oh Shit  .

Mr. Luos

Yeah...the badge doesn't fit on there too well.
When I purchased it from GM it had a bend to it....against the way it would fit on the bumper.

Instead of crack the badge, I kinda let it stay off a touch on the 'W' side. I am sure some new GM double side would probably take care of it.
