I have an 89 Le Sabre, and I need to take off the bolt holding it on and it will not come off. Me and my brother used a 5 foot cheater bar and the bolt still will not break loose.
any suggestions?
Thank you

Yes, this bolt can be a pain.
I added a three foot pipe to my breaker bar and lowered the car, using it's weight, to break the bolt free.
Good luck.

I do not have the cheater bar any more. Is it possible the bolt has reverse threads?

mine didnt, i just jamed a wrench or i had a triangle shaped peice of steel between the compressor or water pump to stop it from slipping.

Nope, it's not reversed threaded. I thought the same thing.
You don't have a cheater bar....ok.
I didn't either. You can look for any hollow piece of steel tubing. I used the handle from my jack and slipped it over my 1/2 inch drive handle.
Be sure to isolate the balancer from moving. I took off the little plate on the tranmission housing and wedged a screwdriver in the teeth of the wheel.
Good luck...you can do it!!
