f-150 v8 triton

I was just hoping some one could tell me what kind of fuel mil I should be getting with a f-150 v8 triton scab year 2000 has 60k I am only getting 14/5 m/g and I thought I would get at least 20 but first time with a ford so I could be wrong I'm just wandering if I have something wrong or not. NO 4x4 thx for any help

If these full size trucks got 20 mpg, we would not all be cussing big oil like we do:grinyes: I would say that 14 to 15 mpg is about right for your truck

14-15 is about right. the 4.6-litre reg cab only gets like 17mpg.

2000 F150 w/4.6L, 14.4mpg is all I was getting running 55mi / day. Ended up buying a puddle jumper for to and from work, kept the truck for hauling the boat. 1997 Geo Metro 40mpg city driving the same 55mi / day pays for my fishing fuel ! $100/month.
