door pins and bushings

im havin a tough time replacing my door pins and bushings on my 97 dodge 2500 4x4..the new pins are too big for the hole and so are the bushingd ..ive checked the parts twice and they are the right ones for my truck...do i have to drill the old holes out?...i got the old bushings out ok but damn i need my truck doors back on .anyone replaced them and any secrets?..i feel like an idiot ..lol..what am i missing

tackled them today ..yah gotta drill out the holes ..3/8 size on outer holes for pin to slide through and 1/2 hole on the inside hinge holes for the bushings to sit into..works great for anyone who needs them done..what a difference it makes
