someone jacked my antenna

my antenna is missing and no base as weel. what is the proper way to remove one from the car cuz now i got to go and jack one from da junk yard

If it's like the 91-96 power or manual antennae:

-disconnect the antenna lead under the hood at the firewall
-disconnect the power lead in that same area if you have power antenna
-remove the inner fender on your good car; remove the inner fender rear bolts and bend the inner fender to gain access the back side of the fender
-use an antenna nut wrench to remove the nut on the top of the fender until it is hanging on by a few threads (i.e. finger tight)
-open the passenger door and remove the bolt about 6" down from the top hinge
-remove the antenna nut and the antenna will fall out the bottom
