Can I get some feedback copncerning replacing the pulley on the belt tensioner? I have the pulley but last night when I when replacing the bypass fitting I tried to loosen the bolt for the pulley itself and it wouldn't budge and I didn't want to break anything as the wife needed the car this morning.

Are the threads reversed on this or is there a trick to get it to snap loose?

Thanks!
Bryan

IIRC, that is a reverse thread! You would need to turn it the opposite direction to loosen.

I was thinking that was likely the case.

Thank you.

BTW: The coolant bypass fitting I replaced last night was one that I put in new just last Oct. The thing was leaking on the block side. They could have made it much easier to replace that little $3 part.
