I'm in the process of trying to figure out what is draining the battery on my `99, and the latest
findings seem to indicate that the culprit may be the REM, or one of it's attachments.

Where exactly is this beast located? I've read a few things that seem to point to it being
located within the passenger compartment, in the right rear area behind the trim/coverings, but
I want to know for certain before I start tearing sh*t up and possibly incurring the wrath
of Wifey, especially if it's not there!

Any help appreciated!

The Rem is located behind the jack on the right rear cargo area. Open the jack pannel door. Remove the jack and the jack bracket. At this piont you can either cut the foam backer to get to the REM or the following. Remove the seatbelt from the rear anchor (by the window). It takes a t-60 drive. Remove the screws and plastic holdowns. Carefully remove the plastic part. Start to remove the side pannel from the rear. You only have to pry if loose in the rear. Carefully remove the plastic foar from the corner of the window. You should now be able to see the REM and all the connectors.
