Recently took out the passenger wheel well to get at the manifold easier...Doing so I had to remove the powertrain control module, not electrically, only the bolts that hold it on top of the overflow resevoir. after putting everything back together, the truck won't start now...I've got spark and fuel so it has to have something to do with the module. It started fine before the wheel well was taken out. all the wires to the module are fine. is there anyway to check the module without the vehicle starting? is there a fuse for it? I couldnt find a pcm fuse in either of the boxes.

I fixed the problem by taping on the module with a rubber mallet. they actually recommend this to check if the modules bad. typical gm junk
