I hear a CLICKING sound from somewhere under my hood. I don't know what it is. It happens from time to time. It gets really loud at times both when Im driving and when Im stopped at a light. Can anyone help me out with this problem or have any suggestions to fix this problem?

Unfortunately, I think pretty much anyone will need more information to give you many pointers.

Approximately how fast is the clicking? Does it sound like a relay? Is it only when the air conditioning or defroster is on? Do you feel it in the floor of the Explorer?

Can you open the hood sometime when it's doing the clicking and determine where it's coming from, such as the fuse/relay panel, firewall, or from the area of the belt?
