Well here it is....finished pics of the Prime-Evil.

To all those of you who made comments on the kit http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t67231-1.html in the build-up, thankyou.....I never hought it would get to 7 pages long about a car that most of you i thought wouldn't like !!!

Kit was simple to make and IMO has turned out really well. Spent forever on the body to get just right. Was meant to get tints but after cracking the rear window i changed my mind.

I've already had a offer for someone to buy it but at this stage i'm pretty keen to keep it as it took me ages to finally find one.

Just a brief summary on the kit..

*Made by Tamiya as a Japan Touring car.(#24107...Calsonic Primera)
*Painted in Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue
*Wheels are Fujimi Versus 152's
*Bigger exhaust tip added
*Rear wing taken from a EVO
*Kit was built straight from the box.

Once again thankyou guys for all your positive comments.....you are all a great bunch of people here and I'm pleased to be part of a awesome forum.
Cheers
Pman :)

Great looking kit Warren, the wing compliments it very nicely! Good choice!
I like the stance too, you got that just right.
Love the wheels, I fancy a set for an EVO V I want to do some day.
Again, you are superb motivation for all on this site. I never imagined we would get so many top quality models and people when we started this forum.
We have all created a great site.

Well done AF!!!:D

Another superb work from my favourite New Zealand modeller. :p
One thing that amaze me every new model you make is your smooth and shiny paint job. Brilliant.

Hi P-MAN,

only one word for this one: AWESOME!!

The reason why you got so many pages is because of the first picture of the painted body that you posted. Everyone could clearly see that one hell of a model was in the makes. We were all excited to see the progress and nearly felt your pain when the window thing happened

one litlle, very little, humble, do I dare to say it, remark/suggestion: I would go over the brake discs with a bit of X-19 smoke, to bring the details out a bit more. Same thing for the wheel nuts.

But again, AWSOME!!

Guido

Fantastic model. I love the subtlety of the whole thing.

Sometimes clean and simple lines are by far the best.

Thanks for sharing it with us!!!

Simply stunning!

I never would have considered building this kit before but after seeing yours I'd certainly give it a go. It makes a great project and you've done an outstanding job, I think I would pick this as my fave Pman model!... Now that's saying something, especially when i dont really like Primera's!!!

Hi P-Man,
i'm very impressioned by your paint..... awesome job......
incredeble........
Just two things:
It would be more realistic with a dark line on the discs,
May be you must to cut carefully the rear bumper to insert the nice muffler......
This is just some suggestions, nothing bad.....

Looks absolutly amazing (but what's new :p).

One thing you HAVE to tell us, is how far from the body to you hold the can when you spray, and if it's possible to describe, how fast do you move across the car?

As for that broken windscreen, I snapped off a little support in my F40's engine lastnight (the piece that runs from the engine to the rear of the car, a VERY obvious bit ) and I'm going to have to rebuild the engine again (thank god I had 2 kits!). Only thing that really annoys me, is I already attached the photo-etched brake discs to it, so here's hoping I can get the brake's off :(.
