Well I have not been able to get it started since December. Before when it used to work, I would be cruising down the highway and when I am slowing down for a stoplight or something the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light would come on. I got the code checked and it was for the EGR Valve. So does this mean that the valve is plugged up or carboned up? I will see if I can take it off to look at it. Never worked with one before so what shoud I do to clean it? I know there is fuel getting to the engine, but i checked for spark and it was dull and not constant. I read that it should be bright white and constant I think. I have had 2 coil packs replaced along with the Ignition Control Module. Spark Plugs are also new and not fouled or anything and I also put on a new fuel filter. I can still hear the fuel pump working like before too. So what kind of things should I do to get it to start? Thanks in advance.

I took the EGR valve off and the bottom it of looks dirty. I took a picture with my camera but it will not let me reply with a picture. Does anyone know how to post pictures? When looking at the bottom of it there are the two outer holes for the two bolts then in the middle there is a big V/U shaped indent. On the indent there are three small holes one on each side of the V thing and one on the bottom of it. The in the middle of the V thing is a big hole. Here is a pic kind of what I see:

So how would I clean this EGR valve out? I can look through that big hole in the middle and I can see a lot of carbon build-up. Would I use Carb/Choke cleaner and spray it inside and use a small wire brush or what? Thanks.
