I see a lot of posting son the 3.1 intake repair. I will be attempting the job and have a hanes manual which has few pictures. Can anyone tell me which manual - hanes, chiltons, or the shop manual or something online???? is best the for a weekend mechanic. I can usually get through procedures as long as I have some pictures to refer too. Also has anyone posted the procedure online or copied part of a manual ??

Any help would be appreciated as I will be starting this job soon.

I think autozone.com has online manuals, but they're not that detailed. As to haynes or chiltons? I like haynes, but they'll both be fine. Make sure you have the correct tools (torque wrenches, etc.).
