I have a 95 Grand Am with the quad 4 and it will not start when it is below about 40 degrees. It turns over real slow and won't fire at all, but let it warm up to around 40 - 50 degrees and it starts perfectly, turns over quickly and runs fine. It has a new battery and the cable connections seem tight, any ideas?
Thanks
Thanks

Welcome to AF.
You might try switching to a light wieght oil.
Other then that you could install a block heater that plugs in over night. Keeps the oil/block warm.

You might want to bring it by like Autozone and let them do a free system check to make sure that the battery cells or starter cylinder, or alternator is not going bad. Also make sure that your battery post are clean and well fitted with some of those battery post pads on them. Make sure you keep a 50 50 mix antifreeze in your car also, not that this should make to much of a difference when starting.

If all that is good the only other thing I know is spark plugs and wires. One of the wires might be going bad
